Spring has Sprung
I'm absolutely loving this weather!
Not even being stung by a bee could bring me down!
Which actually did occur...
But no worries!
It didn't hurt much, my baby toe just happens to look even more sausage-y than before.

Spring Break Ski Adventure
We had SO much fun spending a couple days of spring break up at Brianhead. Devin is pro and unfortunately for him he was stuck with my pathetic uncoordinated self. The first run was definitely scary for me and I was worried at what I had gotten myself into as I SLOWLY inched my way down the hill. But after heading to the bunnyhill and getting a few easier runs under my belt I began to feel much more comfortable.
We didn't have the best weather while we were there so we were only able to ski one day. I was kinda disappointed because I was really starting to enjoy myself! But we still had a blast watching movies and playing games in the condo.
And we couldn't miss the tradition of signing the bathroom wall.
Plus we found our names from the last time we we're up at Brianhead!
(Faded but still there! 7/4/97)

I just can't wait to be king
What am I saying?!
Max already thinks he is king! None of this waiting business!
And I guess he has the right to since he is spoiled rotten!
He likes to assume that any soft thing of mine was purchased for his cuddling pleasure.

Valentines Love
The holiday started off with a beautiful bouquet from my father. Designed to match my room with my favorite yellow roses and black and white gerber daises. And of course some heart shaped marshmallow covered chocolates.
Later I got an adorable handmade gift from Devin and a sweet night of drinking Martinelli's and playing I Spy on the old airport hill. When we first started dating we would often go to airport hill and look over the city to play I Spy(which usually ended in us getting the giggles over the awkward couples who made their way to the hill purely for makey-outey purposes). So it brought back many memories. It's hard to believe that it's almost been 3 years since we started dating!
For my end of the Valentine's surprises, we're going to head up to Brian Head a couple of days over spring break for a skiing/snow adventure.
After all these years I'm excited to test my skills out again, but I'm also praying that I won't end up in the trees. I hope Devin will have patience with me as I try to relearn; seeing as he is about 3 years rusty and I'm more around 10 to 12. I don't know what I've gotten myself into. Oh dear! haha. Wish me luck! I'm sure they'll be stories to come later.

I spent most of my weekend here:
Devin and I spent at least a good hour or two constructing it!
{I must admit that we were pretty proud of our handiwork}
After only a few disagreements and construction revisions we were finally satisfied!
It helps to have plenty of sheets, plenty of clothespins, and being old enough to reach the top of the entertainment center.
Forts are also the perfect venue for family movie nights!

Macrame the day away
I'm really excited about this project I just finished.
I found the idea for it off of the beloved Pinterest.
I found the idea for it off of the beloved Pinterest.
The actual process was super easy to do!
I just followed a helpful how to found here.
I choose to do a rainbow effect of colors for my headphones.
I kinda wish I would've done smaller sections of more colors.
But oh well... that would have required more starts and stops.
However be warned that it was quite a time extensive project.
