The Osborne Family Spectacle of Dancing Lights

One of the coolest things I've ever seen.
Period.
A family from Arkansas (The Osbornes) donated their dancing christmas lights to Disney.
Over 5 million lights.
The pictures don't even do it justice.
You must see this in real life.
There are over 100,000 dancing lights just on this one 70 foot Christmas tree alone!
Seriously folks... It was incredible!
Top it off with some fake Florida snow and dancing to holiday music with my man.

What can I say?
It's the most wonderful time of the year!

Sci-Fi Dining

One of my favorite places to eat:
What could be cuter then all the 50's style cars lined up to watch old school cartoons and advertisements?
Plus the waiter even gave us a complimentary ice cream sundae when he saw Devin's birthday button.

Just missing me some saddle shoes and a poodle skirt!

A Happy 21st Surprise!

I was SO super excited for Devin to come to Florida!
I was able to clear my schedule Sunday - Wednesday, and I couldn't even wait to spend time with my best friend!

As an added bonus I was able to get Saturday night off to go to pick Devin up at the airport.
However... Devin was lead to believe that I was working late Saturday night.

Devin's parents (Matt & Sandi) picked me up Saturday afternoon and took me back to their hometown holiday event "Light Up Ocala" with them. Where I got to see Mckenna dance and even got to participate in a flash mob.

After "Light Up Ocala" we headed to the Tampa airport to pick up Devin. I was all sorts of excited and nervous as we waited for his plane to arrive.

I ducked down and hid in the back seat of the truck as we pulled up and he loaded his suitcase in the back. Then when he opened the door to climb in I sat up and said hello.

I will never forget the look on his face!
His jaw dropped and I'm pretty sure he was speechless for a few minutes. He just grabbed me and hugged me.
He was completely surprised!
I'm so sad we didn't even think to take pictures!
Now he could stop worrying about what time they were going to pick me up on Sunday!

I was able to go back to Ocala and spend Sunday and Monday with the Brower family. Having such a wonderful time eating delicious New York style pizza and watching a double feature at the drive in movies with them.

----------------------------------------------------

Then on Tuesday night my birthday present to Devin was dinner and tickets to The Blue Man Group.
I thought the show was very funny and entertaining.
I hope Devin enjoyed it too!

Devin thinks he is a Blue Man.
In the poncho section.
Waiting for the show to begin.

Happy Birthday Devin Jay Brower!
I hope to celebrate many more birthdays with you!

Check another item of the Disney bucket list:
Space Mountain with the lights on!
I must say that the ride is more fun with the lights out, but it's been a dream to ride with the lights on. Technically I wasn't supposed to even be there, (it was for a party for Tomorrowland merchandise cast members) so I think the feeling of rebellion added an extra element of excitement to the whole experience! All in all it was a great night! Danee, Janelle, and I rode 3 times, got some snacks, and then took a quick walk through the empty park. Disney life is an exciting life!

Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Cast Preview

A fun perk of being a Disney cast member is going to holiday cast-exclusive previews. The Very Merry Christmas Party preview was amazing! I literally teared up when I saw the castle with it's holiday lighting. The parade was wonderful(as to be expected from Disney). And it even snowed on Main Street!

Sitting on Main Street; waiting for the parade to start.
The beginning of the Christmas parade!
Dancing Winnie the Pooh and Mary Poppins characters in their winter scarves.
(This picture is mostly for Lindsay because of the penguins)
Mickey, Minnie, and Duffy in front of their Christmas tree.
Dancing gingerbread men that smelled like gingerbread!
Cinderella in her coach pulled by a team of miniature white horses! Just like a real fairytale!
These toy soldiers were easily the best part of the whole parade! They were a real marching band! So neat!
Santa!! I know him!!

I definitely picked the best time of year to intern at Disney World because of all the great holiday festivities I'm getting to experience!

Birthdays & Pirates

November 1st was Janelle's and Ali's birthday.
Our baby Janelle turned 20 and Ali turned the good ol' age of 21!
So what better way to party then attending a Pirates dinner show?!
We had a pirate dance party in the car on the way to the show. Complete with hooks, eyepatches, and bouncing around on peg legs.
"We've got the moves like pirate!"
Erin is obsessed with pirates! So she made me take a picture with her "at the wheel"
I am definitely a very vicious and deadly pirate. As demonstrated by the following pictures. Do not mess.
**Warning! Following pictures may be too violent for young eyes!**
Pictures with the pirates after the show was a must! Check out those pirate muscles!!
On our way home from the show we stopped and picked up an ice cream cake for our birthday princesses.
The happy couple cutting their cake:
Thanks for the fun celebrations you two!
